Bellagio Robbery Suspect Got Caught Through Online Casino Forum

The Ballagio robbery has become a very interesting national story. It occurred last December 14, wherein an armed man wearing black jumpsuit and full faced motorcycle helmet drove a motorcycle to the North valet of the Ballagio, walked quickly onto the casino floor with a helmet still on, pulled out a hand gun, grabbed the stacks of casino chips in a craps table and put them all in his fanny pack. Briskly, he ran back to his motorcycle, yelled at the security personnel to move and then he went off with around $1.5 million in chips ranging from $100 to $25,000. the incident took only less than three minutes.


Bellagio is owned by MGM Resorts International and is a highly guarded casino and to their surprise, said “biker bandit” still manage to break in. The Las Vegas police and casino officials have been working thoroughly to find the burglar, reviewing surveillance videos and photo images to get an idea of regarding the incident. Since then, even investigators have also been keeping focus on any unusual chip redemption.


“The biker bandit who robbed the Bellagio casino in Las Vegas is likely to find that the chips he stole cannot be spent. The chips may not be worth anything and that most high denomination chips have serial number or embedded radio chips.
